In setting up the new fan page profile for Optin Local, I learned that Facebook allows me to upload an image that’s 200px wide by 600px high. This leaves lots of room for improvement, since with a 600px high profile photo, you’ll claim nearly all of the real estate “above the fold” in the left sidebar.
A visitor who has not yet ‘Liked’ the fan page is presented with the option of clicking the “Like” button at the top. If they do, it will ‘reveal’ the deep discount code as an immediate benefit.
